SARS-COV-2 R-GENE^® ist ein molekularbiologischer Test, der das Virus nach viraler Nukleinsäureextraktion mittels Real-Time PCR nachweist. Der In-vitro Test enthält alle erforderlichen Reagenzien, die für den Nachweis von SARS-COV-2 optimiert wurden:

• Gebrauchsfertiger Master-Mix (inklusive Taq Polymerase)
• Reverse Transcriptase
• Positivkontrollen
• Negativkontrolle
• Eine interne Kontrolle (IC1) prüft den Extraktionsprozess und das Vorliegen von Amplifikationsinhibitoren in der Probe (in der PCR1)
• Eine Zellkontrolle prüft die Probennahme (in der PCR2)
